Robotics-focused accelerators are few and far between but the Robotics Factory in Pittsburgh is a shining example of a structured and rigorous program. The Robotics Factory has had two successful cohorts with many of the companies from the first cohort having raised money, attracted non-dilutive funding, developed products, and, most importantly, had revenue. These success stories are now joined by the second cohort currently building on similar successes.
This program is successful because it is focused-focused on robotics, focused on founders, focused on building a business. Founders get to interact with experts who not only have technical chops, but mostly who have built new complex, market-ready products, developed proven sales and marketing strategies, and successfully grew robotics businesses.
